Someone called me. They thought it was an accident. A plane had gone into the Trade Center, and frankly, my instinct wouldn't have been to go. Not because something horrific had happened, but it was a plane crash, it was not the kind of thing I would naturally choose to follow and find out about. I went ahead to a breakfast date. I was a little early, and I saw the results of the first and then the second plane hitting. And at that point it was clear something different had happened. I didn't know we were at war...
